Schaming/Sergeant Christmas Events
Our plans this year were spread out to optomize time and travel for all concerned.
It was agreed the we would exchange gifts via a "Secret Santa" whereby each person was assigned the name of one of the family members to be their secret santa. The gift exchange was scheduled for Dec. 17th at Glen and Sarah's in Conn.
On Christmas day we had the Peters family (Ann's brother et al) and those of the group that could be present.
The following photos are from both dates/events.
We start with the tree and Tim's cat. Ann purchased the tree, root ball and all, which was loaded into the Prius with a fork lift. The man at the nursery asked if she had anyone to help her get it out. "My husband." she answered. Well, what a time that was. We will never be getting another live tree. It was in the house for three days and is now planted in the yard.
Bill and Diane will be getting married soon. We are all looking forward to the event.
Melissa is holding her cat with its new Santa coat. Bill is holding Tim's cat with its deer hat. Neither cat was happy with the arrangement.

You can't say "Where's the beef?" around here. This is an annual event.
This festive group includes Ann, Melissa, Maria, Katie, Andy, Matt, Tim, Bill and Diane. ( 12-25-2011 ). Note the red ribbon out in the garden. It's tied around the sun dial in the center of the garden. X marks the spot.

Melissa, Glen and Ann enjoying the cookies and cake. Warren made "Sugar Plums" for the occasion. They were quite a treat. We've all heard about the sugar plums in the Christmas carol, but how many of have ever eaten one? The sugar plums are the green and red balls on the plate where Glen is cutting. ( 12-17-2011 )

The cousins. Lexi and her brother Sean are looking into their cousin Zachary's mouth. Any teeth in there? Lexi will be 3 and Sean will be 1 in January. That's our next big event after Bill and Diane's wedding.

The Brewmaster,Tim, getting ready for another festival. Tim brewed a ginger bread beer several months ago so that it would be ready for Christmas. The beer drinkers were all happy!
